Esther The Romance of Providence

The Book of Esther is a revelation of God’s providence—the way He works behind the scenes to preserve His people in times of peril. The name Esther means “a star”—a star which shone brightly for the Jewish people. God prepared the way for her into the heart of a king. She would save a nation—God’s chosen people—for she was purposely placed “for such a time as this.”
